I guess i’m having a problem here. It started out fine. I followed the steps until step 9.

When I pressed start, it froze on me.

    Odin stops at Boot.img

My tab says Do not turn of target, but the progress bar isnt moving. Do i just wait?

I know its very late. But, from next time if you see ODIN stuck then turn of your device, put the battery out and next insert the battery after 4-5sec. Then restart the process.

Great tip. After waiting for ICS to be published via Kies or OTA for a couple months, I could wait any longer and followed your upgrade instructions. It worked perfectly. Thank you very much.

Very good job. After waiting so long here in the netherlands for the promise Samsung made i tried this method. It turned out excellent. One extra advantage: my tab was in english (tab bought in Malaysia). After the upgrade to 4.0.4 there was a option to change to Dutch. So now my tab looks like one you buy in Holland. Once again, very good job. Maybe a example for Samsung how to speed up things.
