Well so far I have found this page to be extremely helpful. I’m just having one issue now. I’ve completed most of the steps to unrooting my Galaxy note II. However, after extracting the files that I downloaded from Samsung’s website I’ve only been able to flash one of two files back to my device. I’m pretty sure it’s because the other is labeled as an apk extension so I just don’t know how to flash that one. Do you have any advice for me?

If that file is with apk extension then copy it to external SD card. Make sure Unknown sources is on under security settings. Open the apk file using file manager and then install it.
