Huawei U8800 Pro: Root 4.0.3 & ClockworkMod Recovery Complete Guide

Huawei U8800 Pro is the powerful variant of Huawei U8800 Pro. The smartphone comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box and recently upgraded to Android 4.0.3 ICS.       It most likely won’t work. We know a root method that can give root on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread but it can’t install root explorer but root work fine. If you want that then we can cover that in our website.

        I followed the method properly and even my phone got rooted. But when i replaced the recovery.img and rebooted my hpone is says “image signature verify fails”. Please help me out with this.

          If your device not boot then this recovery version not work for your device version, hence you have to install official firmware to get back your device.

    Unfortunately, this method is not working on my device. I followed the steps, but after I finished the method a root checker program says my device is not rooted. Do you have any idea?

      Manufacturer often release firmware to prevent rooting. If this method not working then we have to wait for another method. Hope some developer come forward and share it with us soon.

    i followed the method u posted to root my u8800 pro. it got rooted as well but. after replacing the recovery.img and rebooting my phone , this msg appears “image signature verify fail”

    I tried. This process is failed to root Huawei U8800 Pro. But I installed ICS 4.0.3 on my Huawei U8800 Pro.
