How to root the AT&T Pantech element p4100 tablet? An easy guide

If you have been looking around for a guide to rooting the Pantech Element tablet, we have one for you.

The Pantech Element was released early last year and packs in a punch with its features. It has an 8-inch touchscreen, 1 GB RAM, a 5-megapixel camera and a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor. Few More Important Tips!

  2. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled otherwise you won’t able to transfer file between PC and mobile. [Guide]
  3. Make sure you enable this option – Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Unknown sources.

The next thing you need to do is download the Element and Superuser packages.

How To root Pantech Element P4100 Easily

  1. Save these root package Archives to your Desktop.
  2. Now, unzip the folders again on your desktop only.
  3. Then, connect your device to the PC using a data cable.
  4. Copy the Superuser file to your Memory card.
  5. Open a command prompt window on your PC and type these commands in.adb reboot bootloader
    fastboot flash recovery cwm-5.0.2.7-pororo.img
    fastboot flash boot element-boot-insecure.img
    fastboot reboot

   6. Once this step has completed, close the window and open it again. Now type:

    adb reboot recovery

   7. Your device will reboot in custom recovery mode. From the menu, choose Install Zip from SDcard>>Zip from SDcard.

   8. Now choose the Superuser file copied earlier which will start flashing your device. Once flshing is done your tab will automatically reboot.

  9. The instructions to root will appear on your screen.

  10.  Follow the instructions as mentioned on the screen and you will be done in no time!
