I could not get this update to install from my sd card. The tablet rebooted but it failed to load the necessary files. Please Help.

I’ve been trying to do this all day. Do I need to unzip the update.zip file on the SD card for it to work? I’ve only had my tablet a couple days and I don’t know what I’m doing yet.

    • arafat21

You shouldn’t unzip that file. Just copy update.zip into SD card and follow what said. That’s the standard process for any Android device.

What are the chances of bricking the tablet?

    • arafat21

Chances are nearly nil..We never heard someone to brick device by flashing Google Apps.

      • Jonathan B

I did it and it did not brick it but i do not see any google apps on it or google play or the market.

        • arafat21

That’s strange. This is the only working process to have Google App as per our knowledge. It work for many, don’t know why your device isn’t seeing success. We try to find out if there are any other way.

  • Rob

Mine says signature failed in the upload process, then doesn’t complete the process during the reboot? Any suggestions??

  • disqus_opBSNcNV34

Tablet does not recognize the update when re-booting on TB782B. Any suggestions?

    • arafat21

The developer no longer support this update. We are trying our level best to find latest update.Remember this Google Apps update file is supported only in Android 4.0.3 ICS.

    • arafat21

Download link updated. It should work now.

  • Shan H

Just wanted to say thanks for the help in getting google play to work on the Zeki tablet.

    • arafat21

Thanks for your input and you are welcome!

  • mattd68

I found the google apps but it teminates the market and wont let me get in the market

    • arafat21

Zeki didn’t bought Android official license. That’s why unless you have a signed Google App file you won’t get into it. If you own the said Zeki model in this article then the given link most likely work for you.

If you don’t want to do backup then that not a problem. You just require to download the file and follow the bottom part.

I can’t seem to flash the update I copied it into dcim file like told on my sd card but it says error no update file. What the heck does it not work for android 4.0.4 or something? Can you tell me how to find the system folder on my sd card because I’ve tried everything.

    • arafat21

You can only access system folder if your device is rooted.

  • Kris Araujo

Where can i See My Downloaded Apps ?

    • arafat21

We don’t own the tablet but as it’s an Android tablet, the app should be shown on your app drawer. Task manager can also give you a basic idea of your installed apps. If you talking about play store apps then open play store and you should have a menu called ‘My Apps’.

  • mindy leighme

I did everything above but wen i go to system updates it keeps saying “no update file.” I have been trying to do this for hours & am very irritated! Plz help!

    • arafat21

We don’t have the device, we shared the instruction that given by developer. Please directly reply to those (by clicking on reply option) who successfully done flashing. Ask @shan_h:disqus who done it successfully.

  • arafat21

Just copy it, don’t extract anything.
