Sony is reluctant to upgrading Xperia software, even its stop supporting update to Jelly Bean for various devices. Xperia Ray ST18i/ST18a that comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box, can only be upgraded to Android 4.0.4 ICS officially.
