How To Install An App When Phone Is Locked

Installing app from web interface have several benefits and very much useful in critical situations. Using Google Play web interface you can install an app when your phone is locked or your android handset isn’t with you or you drop into a very interesting app page while surfing Google Play through desktop.

Usually people install apps from web interface when they forget there password and willing to bypass it through an app. The choice is yours, how you going to use this feature.

Here is a quick guide to install app from Google Play from web interface.

1. Log in to Google Play with the same Gmail account that you use to install apps in your mobile.

2. Now visit the app page and check out if your mobile is compatible for this app. A green background notification text will appear when your phone is compatible and a yellow background notification text will appear when not compatible just after the app introduction box in left.

3. Click on install if that app is compatible with your Android handset.

4. A pop-up will appear where you can choose the handset ( very useful if you have more than one registered handset in Google Play) and see the permission that the app need. Click on green Install button again. And then click on ok in very next screen.

Once you unlock your device and if your device is connected with internet, the app will be installed in your handset. You will see an installation notification at notification bar.
