I am not able to do this flashing. I have followed all the steps correctly.
I have installed hybrid ROM v5.0 previously and Odin, in my case remains inactive at the message “Setup Connection…”
What can be the problem? How to resolve it?

Do you cleared your cache via CWM? Clear Cache and Delvik cache via CWM recovery and then try again. Remember wiping cache will delete your phone data not SD Card data though.

      • Nikhil Magdum

I don’t have CWM. But I cleared cache partition through boot recovery. But still facing same problem. I am using only .tar file. Is any other file required. If yes can you give me the link?

        • arafat21

Last time you said, you have some problem on setting up ODIN. If your device is connected to Odin then that’s the only standard procedure to install firmware on Samsung Galaxy Y. The file added is the file you require. I’m sorry but I can’t help you here.
