CM9 Android 4.0.4 ICS ROM For T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide–Installation Guide

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide comes with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread out of the box despite having a dual-core 1.2 GHz Scorpion processor and 768 MB of RAM inside. Good news is, you can now upgrade your T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide aka HTC Doubleshot aka TMo MT4GS to Android 4.0.4 ICS with the help of CyanogenMod 9 or CM 9 custom ROM.


This guide below is compatible only and only with the T-Mobile myTouch 4G. It’s not compatible with any other HTC myTouch 4G variant. Check your device model in Settings» About phone.

CM9 stable version comes with several customize features and have theme support. Many other ROM develops using CM9 Android 4.0.4 ICS as a base. CyanogenMod known for its hugely customize features. It’s fast, stable and bloatware free ROM.

APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
